The Pro-Active Student Development Program is a bundle of services that are designed
to provide students with social, behavioral, and academic support.
Youth Mentoring
1 week (2 hrs) - $60
10 weeks - $500
Our youth mentoring program is designed to fill the need of a strong and positive role
model in the lives of children who are in need of support. Our youth mentors will spend
time getting to know your child on a weekly basis and will offer the encouragement and
guidance necessary to build confidence and success.
Youth mentors are all Fairfax County school teachers that are dedicated to the progress
and happiness of your child. They will pick up students at home once a week for a two
hour period and go out to do activities that are of interest to the student. These
positive interactions will prove to benefit your child socially, behaviorally, and
academically.

Study Groups
As Low As $25/week!
The study groups meet weekly with a maximum of 5 students per group.
1 Quarter/9 weeks - $250
1 semester/18 weeks - $450
Study Groups meet weekly to offer academic and organizational
support to elementary students. The first location will be at Forest Edge ES in Reston.
The groups consist of three to five elementary students,
ages 8 to 13, that meet together to promote study habits and organization skills. Students
will receive assistance with homework, test preparation,
studying technique, academic instruction, and
organization. This small group tutoring is extremely cost effective and
will surely increase your student’s performance in the classroom.
One-On-One In-Home Tutoring
1 hour - $60
10 hours - $500
Pro-Active tutoring is an excellent way for your child to get the extra academic support
they might need in a given subject area. Our Virginia certified teachers will come to
your home and supplement your child’s education as needed in various subject areas.
One-on-one tutoring will provide your child with the instruction and
attention necessary to improve grades, organization, and study habits.
